How to Use an Online Stopwatch
- Open the stopwatch and select Start.
- Select Lap to mark an interval without stopping elapsed time.
- Select Pause if you need a freeze; Start resumes from the stored total.
- Read lap time, total time, and difference in the table.
- Copy results or export CSV when the session is worth keeping.
- Use Reset, with confirmation, to clear recorded data.
- ELAPSED
- The main display: time since start, minus paused gaps only in the sense that pause freezes the total until resume.
- LAP
- Time since the previous marker.
- SPLIT
- Cumulative time at the marker, listed as Total Time.
Understanding Time Measurements
| Milliseconds | 1 second = 1,000 milliseconds. The engine uses this internally. |
|---|---|
| Hundredths | 1 second = 100 hundredths. Shown after the decimal as CS. |
| Seconds / minutes / hours | 60 seconds = 1 minute; 60 minutes = 1 hour. |
| Lap / split / elapsed | Interval, cumulative marker, and running total. |
